Exquisite video. Thank you. I do have one question. Your models and animations have steam passing through the turbine so as to hit the convex surface of the turbine blades. I have seen turbine blades in models and drawings all my life, and always assumed the steam hit the concave surface of the blades first. That just seemed intuitive to me. Was that an oversight, or is the perhaps some subtle detail of aerodynamics I'm overlooking.

It doesn’t matter if it’s over 15 floors I’m not going any higher. I have a part-time delivering state products and I’m telling the corresponding reciprocate to come meet me in the lobby because I am not traveling to the skies for their office. I’ll send it up in the freight elevator and you wait for it at the top. Lmao

Like the leaning tower in downtown San Francisco. 29" off plumb at the top! Never could have happened in 1931. Or the falling balconies at the Hyatt New Orleans. Be an engineer but get a brain first.

I’ve worked in the construction industry for almost twenty years, and I can tell you that this method is used all the time. Builders often ignore the drawings/specifications in favor of their tried & true rules of thumb. Of course, they don’t tell any of the Engineers this.

Great video! In summary, evaporation occurs in the head of the bird when it wets its beak. Therefore, the head of the bird becomes colder due to evaporation. Water always flows from high to low pressure. In this case, the tail has the higher pressure since the water begins to slowly work its way up the tube. Temperature and pressure are directly related. If the temperature drops, the pressure will too. As stated before, the water will flow towards where the pressure is lower, causing the weight of the bird's head to increase, dip back into the water, and repeat.

Diapers are really a wonder of modern chemistry and fluid science. I for one greatly appreciate them. Due to a medical condition, I need to wear diapers. At night, and during long car trips or when I run the risk of being more than 20 or so minutes from a potty. I CAN hold it, just not for very long. I also have a particular fondness for coffee and tea. So I do drink a lot of one or the other, or both during the day. Incontinence and a love for drinks that go right through me... Not a great combination. The doc suggested diapers and I was mortified. "I'm not a baby." and "That so embarrassing" and "EEW! Pee held against my butt and etc. No." were my thoughts . But I tried it. Wow. Now, these fluffy marvels of science are a comfort to me. Once I finally accepted it, and stared wearing diapers, I got a new mattress and beddings. Plus, I would and still do, sleep so much better knowing that my bed is no longer going to be a nasty stained wreck. That threat is gone now. It's been 4 years, and not once have I had an incident with wetting anything. I also want to point out to anyone who needs them that there is no shame in a medical condition that you have no control over. Sometimes life just deals you a bad hand and you gotta deal with it and live your best life. You or I are no less of an adult or a lesser person because we wear diapers. To me, despite what many may think, diapers are not uncomfortable at all. They are actually quite soft and comfy. On top of that, I don't really feel wet whenever I do have an accident. Yeah I feel it at first, but that soon gets absorbed and then it's like nothing happened. (Other than the little bit of swell, that is) Yeah, I was ashamed at first, and was worried that someone might hear my diaper rustling or crinkling. (if you're close enough to my butt to hear my diaper rustling, YOU need to rethink some stuff. Not me) But now I accept it as part of who I am. I don't need to B.S. myself with creative terminology like "adult undergarments" or anything like that. If you need to, fine. Cope how you cope. But personally, I call them diapers. I wear diapers. That' what they are and I'm fine with it. Now I don't go around bragging about it. I don't wear my diapers out of the house uncovered or openly carry them or anything like that. No, I don't smell like pee or let my diapers sag or droop. I change, and clean up ASAP when needed. If you didn't know that I was wearing a dipaer and you met me, you'd be none the wiser. I won't deny it though. What's the point? Would you deny needing crutches for a bad leg? Or needing glasses for bad eyes? No, you wouldn't. So why do I have to deny the fact that I have a condition that makes me need to wear diapers? I don't, You don't. No shame. Sure, I wish I didn't need them. But here I am. Diapered up and soon to hit the sack for the night. Oh well. What bothers me is the ridiculous cost of diapers that are good enough to keep me, my pants/skirts, my bed and other places that my butt occupies, dry. Walmart Assurance brand is currently doing the trick, But even those went from a 40-pack for 15 dollars, to only a 34-pack for 17 dollars. That's still cheap, I know. When some Northshores go for like 3 bucks a pop, and anything that doesn't look like a medical device and might have some cute or pretty print or pattern is outrageously expensive. But I guess it is what it is. I'm just thankful they exist, and that my particular brand is not overly "institutional" looking, and especially that I can now go back to living without being terrified of going out of the house. Thanks for this video showing how my diapers work.
